Wild Rift Katarina Best Runes
You can equip the following Rune Setup starting with Conqueror to help Katarina stack faster and deal extra damage to champions since she’s more likely to jump into the fray. It also helps restore her health during takedowns and throughout the game to become more effective and last longer with her aggressive playstyle. This is where the rest of the runes can help our squishy melee champion.
Conqueror: Getting stacks of AD or AP when hitting enemies will make Katarina more effective with her damage skills.
Triumph: Getting more takedowns will help restore Katarina’s health, given that she’ll engage the enemy team more. Also, dealing more damage to low HP enemies makes her more lethal.
Second Wind: This further helps Katarina restore health after taking damage from enemies, especially at the start of the game.
Sweet Tooth: For additional healing from Honeyfruit plus bonus gold.
Wild Rift Katarina Best Summoner Spell
You can go for the Summoner Spell Flash + Ignite. Ignite provides the finishing blow on enemies who try to escape with their low health, while Flash gives you that extra option to teleport to safety.
You can also consider Flash + Barrier. This can help with better survivability, with the Barrier providing a shield for your champion against damage (especially for burst matchups) for a few seconds. This allows Katarina to have better survivability and health to engage and execute her high damage capability.

Why you should play Katarina in Wild Rift
Katarina is ideal for aggressive players who always want to get in the middle of the fight. This champion can deal tons of damage, carry a team, and ace an enemy team. However, take note that Katarina is quite difficult to use and will require lots of practice to master her combos. Try to review your matches to see where you struggle with her.
When playing this mid-lane assassin, be cautious in the early game because she can struggle with last-hitting minions, given that she’s a melee champion. Be patient in the laning phase; wait for your enemy to overextend before striking. Take advantage of her Skill 3 (Shunpo) by picking up daggers to reduce its cooldown. Given you are squishy, use Shunpo wisely to dodge attacks.
- Capable of heavy damage
- Does not require mana
- A power carry for the team
- Late-game scaling is remarkable
- She is a very squishy
- Highly difficult to use (reliant on landing her combos)
- She has a risky style, can die fast as she can kill
