Wild Rift Wishlist for 2023

As we gear up for another exciting year in Wild Rift, it’s time to share my wishlist and expectations for the game in 2023. From the highly anticipated Wild Rift Patch 4.0 to the champions, I also want to talk about a game mode making a comeback. And, of course, I’ll be sharing my top pick for the champion I’m hoping to see debut in the game this year. Let’s dive into all the exciting things in Wild Rift 2023!

My expectation/wish list in the game for 2023

As an avid Wild Rift player, there are a few key things that I’d like to see in the game this year.

First and foremost, I’m excited about Wild Rift’s continued development and evolution. With the upcoming release of Patch 4.0, we’re going to see some exciting changes to the game, and I’m looking forward to seeing what other updates and improvements the developers have in store for us in the coming year. Whether it’s new champions, game modes, or gameplay changes, I’m always eager to see how Wild Rift evolves and grows.

Another essential item on my wishlist for Wild Rift in 2023 is the inclusion of new champions. With each new champion released, the game will become even more diverse and exciting, and I can’t wait to see what unique playstyles and strategies the developers have in store for us. I’m particularly excited for the debut of Zoe, the aspect of Twilight and Zari, the Spark of Zan in the game, as they have the potential to shake up the meta in a big way.

Finally, I’m looking forward to the return of some classic game modes in Wild Rift in 2023. “All Random Ultra Rapid Fire” was always one of my favorites, and I’m thrilled to see it come back in the coming year (fingers crossed!). Whether it’s new twists on old favorites or the return of beloved game modes, I’m excited to see how Wild Rift keeps things fresh.

Overall, Wild Rift has so much to be excited about in 2023. From new features and updates to exciting new champions to the return of fan-favorite game modes, it’s shaping up to be a fantastic year for the game.

New Features/Updates

Here is a list of features and gameplay I can’t wait to see on Wild Rift 2023.

Inhibitor Response

I am over the moon to read about the new Inhibitor response feature coming to Wild Rift. As someone who has felt discouraged after my team’s inhibitors have been destroyed, this new feature will allow players to respawn after an inhibitor is destroyed and fight back. This means it will be easier to make a comeback and less frustrating when the match seemingly feels over.

I am also thrilled to hear about introducing a feature that discourages prolonged defensive play and encourages fast-paced, high-intensity gameplay. As a player who loves dynamic, action-packed games, this feature will make the game more engaging, make comeback victories, or maintain a lead more exhilarating.

Bring on the Tanks

I hope to see an update that enhances the tank’s role and makes their impact more apparent to all players. This could include new and revamped items designed for tank supports to help with roaming and aggressive playstyle. Additionally, I would love to see some of the existing tank items reworked to increase their usability and make their abilities more understandable. I look forward to more updates and improvements for the tank role and other roles in future patches.

Execute Smite

I am ecstatic to hear about the upcoming introduction of a game mode called “Execute Smite” in the new patch. As someone who primarily plays the jungler role, I am excited about having smite’s effect be passive rather than active. If I damage a monster and cause its health to fall below smite’s total damage, the spell will automatically trigger and effectively smite the camp for me without any cooldown concern. It’s also great to know that quality-of-life updates are being implemented, such as new titles and a role leaderboard for comparing scores with friends. Furthermore, I’m looking forward to the start of the ranked season eight and the opportunity to earn the new Crimson NAMI skin by playing ranked games and the Supervillain Graves skin from the ranked store. This new feature should add more excitement to jungle gameplay, and I can’t wait to see the final version based on player feedback. I’m eagerly awaiting more information on this in the patch notes.

Champions

I am excited to see the potential of the new champions, Zoe, the aspect of Twilight, and Zari, the Spark of Zan, that will be launching this 2023. I can’t wait to see the unique abilities and playstyles they will bring to the game, and I’m sure they will give the game a lot of variety and strategic options. I look forward to experimenting with different builds and team compositions featuring these new champions. I would love to see abilities that allow them to redirect missiles, steal enemy spells, put enemies to sleep, and deal severe damage with each attack. These champions will be incredibly fun to play, and I can’t wait to master them and see what kind of mischief and chaos they can bring to the battlefield!

Returning game mode

I am overjoyed to hear about the return of the famous “All Random Ultra Rapid Fire” (ARURF) game mode in the upcoming patch. The concept of playing with random champions and super-fast spells sounds like a lot of fun and could lead to some truly wild and unexpected gameplay. I am also looking forward to the role leaderboard, which allows players to compare their role scores with friends. This will be a great way to measure our progress and to see the top players for each role in our region. Overall, it looks like Wild Rift will be more fun and diverse than ever, and I can’t wait to jump in and see what 2023 has in store for all summoners!
