RULES & REGULATIONS
The tournament is open to invited Malaysian players only. The app is Android only, and the app must be used to participate.
2. PARTICIPATION FEES:
The tournament prizes will be in Cassh After the tournament, a Coda representative will contact you in order to distribute your cash.
Prize Pool: RM800 each tournament
Each player must be in the tournament Chat Feature for tournament communication. All communication between players and host has to be held in English or Malaysian at any time and at any stage of the tournament. The host may be only contacted via the tournament chat. Please pay close attention to all directions given by host within the Tournament chat.
5. BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT:
Availability: All players must be available in CODM 1v1 Tournament, and on the CGS App, as long they are actively participating.
Contacting the Opponent: Contacting the opponent must be done at the tournament chat feature.
Getting the Opponent ID: Player will get the Opponent ID right on your Standing Tab. The player has to add the opponent’s game ID from there before starting the tournament.
6. TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
The first players to join the tournament and fill up the bracket will play. The tournaments are single-elimination, best of 1 series, Call of Duty Mobile.
The entire bracket will be completed on the tournament date. Players must sign in on the tournament app, and use it to report match results and join lobbies to “get ready” for each match.
Each player will be allowed one pause per game (max 2 mins) – Only in the case of any technical issue, a player is able to request a replay of the game with the same picks. This request must be done in the first 3 minutes of the game being played. A maximum of one (1) replay is allowed per match pair. Players must communicate any of these needs with the admins.
The player on the top of the bracket will be the host (blue) and the player on the bottom of the bracket will be the invitee (red) player. This means that the blue player should create the lobby once the COMD app launches, and invite their opponent.
7. SUBMITTING MATCH RESULTS:
Submit your match results by tapping the CGS app icon that is overlaid on your screen as soon as you see the victory or defeat screen. Make sure you tap the icon to submit your results. Failure to submit results may result in disqualification. If you have difficulties, please contact the admin immediately.
8. TOURNAMENT ETIQUETTE:
Please be punctual – Failure to join or ready up on time will result in disqualification. No grace period will be given. Failing to “get ready” within 3 mins of your opponent will result in automatic disqualification.
Players are to conduct themselves appropriately during the tournament time frame when interacting with admins or other players.
Regarding any accusations/report, proof must be submitted (e.g an opponent team forfeiting their match – a screenshot of the conversation must be attached) for the admins to determine the legibility of it.
Any absence will result in disqualification. The app will automatically disqualify you if you take longer than 10 minutes to tap “get ready” after your opponent.
10. ROSTER CHANGES:
No roster changes can be made after joining the tournament.
11. DISRUPTIVE AND ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR:
Competitors shall not take any action or perform any gesture which is insulting, mocking, disruptive, or antagonistic. Avoid any comments, actions or activities that may be reasonably constituted as inappropriate. All determinations of any disruptive or abusive behavior is at the sole discretion of the tournament admins.
