Mobile Legends Patch Notes

Mobile Legends Patch Notes 1.7.20 has finally arrived on the official server and there are plenty of upgrades and changes in store for players. Headlining the list is a pair of revamped heroes and a game-changing mechanic called Magic Sentry. Several heroes have been zapped by the nerf gun to balance their gameplay while others have been buffed to make them more viable in battle by optimizing their skills and abilities. New Revamped Heroes and Hero Adjustments

Lesley

Lesley’s passive has been adjusted to be more strikingly solid along with her other skills that balance her skills throughout the game.

Attributes (↓)

Base Attack: 131 >> 140

Attack Growth: 9 >> 7 

Attack Speed: 100% >> 80% 

Passive – Lethal Shot

Lesley’s Lethal Shot has been adjusted and now can deal True Damage; however, her Crit Damage has been reduced. Each point of fixed 0.5% Physical Penetration with a set ratio is converted to 0.5% Crit Damage. 

Skill 1 – Master of Camouflage

Camouflage has been adjusted to have a brand-new texture to make the effect fit better, wherein it also comes with extra Physical Attack 75-200 >> 85-110 for smoother combos with Lesley’s Basic Attack. 

Skill 2 – Tactical Grenade

Optimized for better combos with Basic Attacks and Skill 1 wherein the casting range was slightly increased comes with a redesigned animation and visual effects. 

Ultimate – Ultimate Snipe

Comes with new a indicator and visual effects and an increased Fatal Bullet’s Base Damage of 200-300 >> 250-350. Its new passive effect lets Lesley gain a Critical Chance of 5%-15% based on her skill level. 

Gusion

Gusion’s skills and recall animation were redesigned, adding a special combo animation as he can roam through the battlefield in an astonishing manner. 

Passive – Dagger Specialist

Gusion’s Passive has been adjusted, giving an effect that can be triggered every time it is being cast. It can stack up to 4 times; Damage, Per Stack: 4% of the target’s lost HP; Basic Attack strengthens as each stack count increases.

October Starlight Skin Eudora’s “Cosmic Voyage” will be available on October 1, 2022.

The Exorcists

From The Exorcists event, Kagura’s “Exorcist” and Yu Zhong’s Exorcist Yu Zhong” skins, will be available for a limited time between October 3 to November 16, 2022.

MLBB The Exorcists

MLBB x Saint Seiya

Badang’s “Pegasus Seiya” and “Sagittarius Seiya, Valir’s “Leo Ikki,” and Chou’s “Libra Shiryu” skins from the MLBB x Saint Seiya event will be available on October 24, 2022. Chou’s “Dragon Shiryu” will be available for a limited time beginning October 27 for 1288 Diamonds with 30% Off during the launch week. Valir’s “Phoenix Ikki” skin will launch for a limited time on November 3 for 1288 Diamonds with a 30% Off during the launch week.

Cecilion Grand Collection Skin

Cecilion’s new Grand Collection skin will be available on November 5, 2022.

Buffs & nerfs

Beatrix (↓)

Beatrix is one of the most versatile and adaptive MLBB heroes, and it gets quite hard to deal with her as she can dominate the game. The new update nerfed her by restraining some of her abilities and tweaking her reloading style – nerfing her aim and max damage; not only that she nerfed for easier handling during the game, but to also give room to her less popular weapons. 

Basic Attack (~) 

Reloading time slightly increased; however it decreases greatly as Attack Speed increases.

Damage: 350-525% Physical Attack >> 365-400% Physical Attack

Hitbox increased to 1.5

[Weskerr (Shotgun)] (↓)

Damage: 125-195% Physical Attack >> 150-220% Physical Attack

Hitbox Width was reduced to 75%

Each Damage of Successive Hits decays by 70% until the damage reaches to 40% 

Damage >> Each deas 25% initial damage

[Bennett (Grenade Gun)](↓)

Damage: 180-320% Physical Attach >> 230-300% Physical Attack

Slow Effect: 30% >> 40%

Nibiru (Submachine Gun) ()

Damage: 50-67.5% Physical Attack >> 52.5-50% Physical attack

Ultimate (↓)

[Renner (Sniper Rifle)](↓)

Aim Time: 20s >> 8s

Lifesteal: 50% >> 25%

Cancelling a cast only loses 50% Cooldown.

[Weskerr (Shotgun)] (↓)

Damage: 295-445 + 110% Physical Attack 250-550 + 130% Physical Attack

Hitbox Width: Reduced to 75% initial hitbox width

Each Damage of Successive Hits decays by 75%, 50% and 25% initial damage >> deals 25% initial damage

[Bennett (Grenade Gun)]()

Slow Effect: 30% >> 40%

Nibiru (Submachine Gun) (↓)

Damage: 6 times >> 10 times

Damage Per Hit: 200-320 + 60% Physical Attack >> 130-210 + 40% Physical Attack

Damage per hit reduced by around 35%: total damage increased by around 10%

Wanwan (↓)

Wanwan has been dominating the game as she stacks her Passive to 4. But now, her passive to is reduced to 3 to give room to optimize her Ultimate and to give a chance for her enemies to counter. 

Ultimate (↓)

Cooldown: 40-34s >> 50-42s

Wanwan can only use her Ultimate on an enemy whose Weaknesses have been targeted by her. 

Natalia (↓)

Natalia has been known as one of the dominating heroes in MLBB, so to give other heroes a better chance to win against her, she was nerfed in the latest Mobile Legends update. 

Passive (~)

With the new MLBB update, Natalia’s slow effect was removed.

Silence Effect: Once the target has been marked by Natalia twice, they’re silenced for 1s >> 0.25s every time it is marked. 

She conceals her to the enemy after being removed into range for 2s >> exposing her to the enemy after being removed into range for 0.6s

Ultimate (↓).

Her cooldown was adjusted while it still varies based on CD Reduction >> 3s (fixed)

Valentina (↓)

Valentina’s Ultimate and skill1  were adjusted with lower control duration. 

Skill 1 (↓)

Terror Duration: 0.7s >> 0.6s

Ultimate (↓)

Cooldown: 42s >> 55s

Yin (↓)

Increased delay for Yin’s ability to pull his enemy into his domain, to address additional time for enemies to pull themselves away from Yin. 

Skill 1 (↓)

Cooldown: 11-8s >> 10-7s

Skill 2 (↓)

Damage Reduction: 25% >> 30% 

Ultimate (↓)

Increased delay before Yin can pull his target

Faramis (↓)

Brought by his powerful performance in both Ranked and pro matches, Faramis was tuned down in this update.

Skill 1 (↓)

Cooldown: 15s >> 18s

Skill 2 (↓)

Initial Damage: 330-480 + 144% Magic Power >> 300-450 + 108%  Magic Power

Ultimate (↓)

Base Etra HP: 700-900 + 15% HP >> 600-800 + 10% HP 

Johnson (↓)

Johnson had to spend time roaming around the battlefield to enable his double-combo Ultimate, which has now been adjusted. Aside from this, the control from his double-combo Ultimate makes it hard for the enemies to react. 

Ultimate (↓)

Cooldown: 45-40s >> 36-30s

Alice (↑)

Alice has been buffed to strengthen her role as a tanky mage, and be able to mechanic around her orbs. Alice was more on Mana Regen in terms of items; now she will be able to benefit from Mana and Durability Items. 

Attributes (↓)

HP Growth: 201 >> 169

Mana Growth: 110 >> 0

Passive (↑)

2 blood orbs will appear instead of one when an enemy dies nearby. Once Alice absorbs both orbs, each can permanently increase her Max Mana by 20, 40 overall. 

For every 12 orbs that she absorbed, her cooldown reduction increases by 10% >> increases Mana Regen. 

Ultimate (↑)

Mana Cost: 40-80 >> 60-140

HP Regen: 60-80 + 20% Magic Power >> 60-100 + 10% Magic Power

Damage: 120-160 + 50% Magic Power >> 60-120 + 20% Magic Attacks + (0.5-1.5% + 0.5% per 1000 Max Mana) Max HP

Minsitthar (↑)

Minsitthar’s roaming and CC abilities have been improved

Skill 2 (↑)

Base Shield: 200-600 >> 350-600

Bullet speed and hitbox have been slightly increased

Ultimate (↑)

Disables all Blink/Dask Skills of the affected enemies

Moskov (~)

Moskov’s Ultimate effect have been adjusted to match the high difficulty of hitting an enemy from afar along with the slightly reduced Skill 1’s Attack Speed boost to balance out his previously buffed to Inspire. 

Skill 1 (↓)

Attack Speed Boost: 1.4-1.7 Times >> 1.3-1.5 Times

Ultimate (↑)

30-90% Slow for 1.5s >> 50% Slow for 1-5s

Cooldown: 45-35s >> 55-45s

Badang (~) 

Badang’s recharge speed in the early game have been improved to increase his laning skill and to also keep his damage balanced. 

Skill 1 (~) 

Charge: 13-10s >> 11-8s

Initial Attack’s Base Damage: 210-360 >> 160-260

Successive Attacks’ Base Damage: 115-210 >> 120-195

Pharsa (↑)

Pharsa was nerfed last time, and now previous adjustments have been partly returned to optimize her skills and abilities.

Passive (↑)

Damage: 150 + 120% Magic Power >> (8% + 1% per 200 Magic Power) Max HP

Ultimate (↑)

Cooldown: 46-38s >> 42-34s 

Valir (↑) 

Valir is a capable hero but he has not been hitting enemies during late-game, so he is buffed to improve his ability and optimize him during late game.

Skill 1 (↑)

Charge: 8.5s >> 9-7.5s

Skill 2 (↑)

Optimized casting skills. 

Bruno (↑)

With great damage deal, he is now easier to play and optimized how he catches the ball. 

Skill 1 (↑)

Bruno is buffed to gain 30% extra Movement Speed for 0.5s as his Powerball hits an enemy. 

Fredrinn (↑)

Optimized casting experience of some skills.

Skill 1 (↑)

Slightly reduced cast backswing time. 

Skill 2 (↑)

Dashing issues have been fixed which will make Federinn’s reliable escape tool.

Ultimate (↑)

Greatly reduced cast backswing time. 

Granger (↑)

Improved and enhanced his Basic Attack to complement his Skill 2 alongside increased skill cap of him. 

Skill 2 (↑)

Basic Attack Damage Boost: 10-30% >> 25-40% 

Lapu-Lapu (↑)

Enhanced Lapu-Lapu’s damage to enable him to dish out more damage in team fights. 

Ultimate (↑)

First Two Attacks’ Damage: 300-450 + 140% Physical Attack >> 380-580 + 160% Physical Attack. 

Bane (↑)

Improved his gameplay damage and sustenance from early to mid-game. 

Skill 2 (↑)

Base Damage: 200-400 >> 250-450

Base HP Regen: 160-285 >> 200-300 

Jawhead (↑)

Adjusted some of Jawhead’s skills for an easier time in the EXP lane. 

Skill 1 (↑)

Damage: 125-220 + 25% Physical Attack >> 150-250 + 30% Physical Attack

Julian (↓)

Julian is known for his durability despite previous nerf adjustments on him.

Passive (↓)

All SKills’ Cooldownds: 7s >> 10-6.5s (decreases as he levels up) 

Masha (↓)

Masha is wanted of the greatest tanks that can definitely dominate the battlefield, from her damage deal to durability, she got it all. She has been nerfed a bit during this Mobile Legends update.

Attribute (↓)

HP Growth: 165 >> 145

Passive (↓)

Physical Lifesteal at 2 HP Bars: 25% >> 15% 

Physical Lifesteal at 1 HP Bar: Total Value remains unchanged. 

Fanny (↓)

High-mobile and durable Fanny have been nerfed to give her opponents a better chance to counter her. 

Attributes (↓)

Base Physical Defense: 19 >> 16

Physical Attack Growth: 13.25 >> 10.25

Skill 2 (~) 

Optimized the skill’s Camera shift to match Fanny’s high mobility to correctly pan in the designated directions. 

Aldous (↓)

Aldous’ durability has been slightly reduced to give chance for his opponents to counter him as he dominates the battlefield. 

Attributes (↓)

Base HP: 2718 >> 2668

HP Growth: 210 >> 190

Gameplay changes, adjustments, and new features

Magic Sentry

A Magic Sentry spawns at that side behind the base’s walls whenever a side loses an Inner Turret. It triggers when a hero steps within the area, lighting up that side’s Jungle for six seconds. It can be used once per 90 seconds (Reveals invisible units).

Sanctum Island Theme

Mobile Legends update includes the optimization of the Sanctum Island theme from the ground surface patterns,  bushes, lighting, and shadows, as well as the texture of metal objects. Turrets were redesigned along with a new attack animation. 

Sprint ()

Sprint’s movement speed boost has been slightly reduced. Movement Speed Boost: Minimum 50%, the initial value higher >> Constant 50% 

Ice Retribution ()

Duration: 5s >> 4s

Flame Retribution ()

Duration: 5s >> 4s

Bloody Retribution ()

Duration: 5s >> 4s

Total Damage and Lifesteal remain unchanged.
