Scuba Diving at Quill Lake
I have played this game since December 2022. Unfortunately, this game has been discontinued by its developers. We only have Chapter 1 to work with, but it is already rich in content. In a nutshell, you must uncover the mysteries surrounding Quill Lake and its neighboring areas. You’ll take on various odd jobs and requests, all related to getting closer to what is happening in Quill Lake. For the most part, you must go underwater to retrieve quest items or collect coins for powerups. Sadly, this game is not being updated and is now abandoned as of this writing, with the last update dated January 30, 2023. Despite this, I still included this game as a reminder of how deep – figuratively and literally – a Roblox story game can go. This game also sets a precedent for the remaining titles on this list.
Warrior Cats: Ultimate Edition
Mentioned in the description as a game based on The New York Times Best Seller young adult fantasy novel, Warriors, where the story revolves around the adventures of feral cats. You’ll love this game if you’re familiar with the books or just love cats. I know I do. This game lets you choose which “clan” you belong to, which you can change whenever you restart or re-open the game: ThunderClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan, WindClan, Kittypets, and Rouges & Loners. Each clan has a specific area they can roam around in (their “base”), but the whole world is for everyone to explore. The clan I joined, Kittypets, is set in a house with all the amenities a house cat can get from toys, beds, food, and kitty towers. A common thing in this game is playing a role-playing game within a role-playing game, similar to how tabletop gamers convene and plan their next adventure. Oh, and to make the experience more engaging, you get to be with other users and socialize with them. They might be doing weird things at first, like the screenshot I took. Ask nicely since you may want to be friends with your fellow feral cats.
Break In (WARNING: Scary game!)
Break In is probably the most jump scare I’ve had in quite a while. Based on a popular horror film series, this game is similar to survival games, where you must find items to help you or your fellow survivors defeat the main bad guy. Did I mention that it’s scary? The build-up to the main event after introducing the serial killer, Scary Larry, and his group that executes “the purge” already sent a chill down my spine. As the game goes on, you will find many hidden items, rooms, and characters that will make the experience more immersive than it looks. Worth a try.
Roblox Titanic
If history is more your type, this game might be the one you’re looking for. Based on a historical event and a 1997 blockbuster film featuring Leonardo di Caprio, Roblox Titanic recreates that fateful night of April 12, 1912, when the RMS Titanic made its only voyage from Southampton, England, to New York, United States, where the ship did not make its destination after hitting an iceberg in the North Atlantic Ocean. The game faithfully recreates the final hours before, during, and after the sinking of the fabled “unsinkable” ship. From the lookouts yelling “Iceberg, right ahead!” to rescuing and transferring the passengers from the Titanic’s lifeboats to the RMS Carpathia, the game will surely be an enjoyable experience for history enthusiasts. If you also know the lyrics to “My Heart Will Go On” by Celine Dion, you might find someone knowing the reference.

This stealth-based first-person shooter revolves around a criminal organization and its number 1 “agent,” which you control. The action will make you somewhat forget that there is a story, but when you go to the main menu and select missions, you can watch the story unfold. The level of gameplay here is intense for a first-person shooter, with all the strategies you may want to employ. As with these games, pay attention to the tutorial and follow all the instructions and prompts. I skipped most of these and did not realize I had to do things a certain way.
