New Character: Phainon
Phainon is a Physical/Destruction unit with a tragic past and an even more explosive future. As Chrysos Heir, he channels the embers of his fallen home, wielding his Coreflame mechanic to unleash staggering single-target damage with a splash of AoE. Rather than relying on Energy like most characters, Phainon builds up 12 stacks of Coreflame through Basic Attacks, Skills, and by getting hit. Once charged, he can ignite his Ultimate and unleash chaos.
Phainon enters a transformed state upon using his Ultimate, amplifying his offensive potential. During the Ultimate, he places his teammates in the Departed state, disabling them from taking turns but shielding them from harm. This opens up tactical plays, enabling Trailblazers to funnel all the damage to him, allowing him to generate Coreflames faster. Best paired with Harmony buffers like Sunday, Bronya, and Gallagher, Phainon shines brightest with a full-support team, making him a compelling main DPS for teams built around maximizing uptime and raw Physical damage.

New Light Cone: Thus Burns the Dawn
Tailor-made for Phainon, the new 5-star Light Cone “Thus Burns the Dawn” turns your newest DPS into an unstoppable force. It grants a Base SPD boost of 12, ignores DEF, and (after using an Ultimate) activates Blazing Sun, which decreases DMG dealt by a jaw-dropping 60% for one turn.
It’s his best-in-slot, making everything Phainon wants to do easier: go fast, hit hard, and leave scorched earth in his wake. If you’re planning to invest in him, this Light Cone gives the most significant boost out of the game’s weapon collection.
New Map: Aedes Elysiae
Version 3.4 invites Trailblazers to explore Aedes Elysiae, a picturesque countryside village blanketed in autumn hues and rustic stone houses. This once-bustling settlement also happens to be Phainon’s hometown, before it was reduced to ruin by the Flame Reaver’s attack. As you explore the new area, you’ll uncover key moments from Phainon’s past, including the harrowing trial that shaped him into the warrior he is today.

In this quirky three-match event, players must feed origami birds by combining fruits across Penacony’s retro arcade zones. The stronger it gets, the better your chances at earning Stellar Jades, Tracks of Destiny, and other exciting rewards.
