Genshin Impact Pyro Characters

Pyro characters in Genshin Impact bring grit and excitement with their flair for flames. From a Claymore-wielding rockstar to a young knight with a penchant for things that go ‘boom!’, these characters are straight up on fire.

The world of Teyvat is full of fierce enemies and mind-bending puzzles that only Pyro can overcome, and if you want to uncover the truth of this world, you must have a reliable Pyro DPS.

Pyro is one of the seven elements in Genshin Impact, and it creates some of the strongest Elemental Reactions when paired with the other elements. Today, we’ll list down all the Pyro vision holders in the game to help you decide who will be the next damage dealer in your party.

Amber

Genshin Impact Amber

Rarity: 4-star
Weapon: Bow

Outrider Amber of the Knights of Favonius is the first free character introduced in the story. She might not be as powerful as the others on this list, but don’t count her off right away because her bow, arrow, and trusty Baron Bunny are very handy in activating puzzle mechanisms to reach new places and obtain treasure chests.

Besides being helpful in exploration, Amber can also act as a battery for a Pyro DPS, unlocking the Pyro Resonance for a 25% ATK increase and 40% decrease on Cryo effects.

If you want to main her because you were touched by the fact that she put up posters to help you find your sibling, there’s no stopping you as long as you can proc the Melt and Vaporize reactions consistently with the holy trinity of supports, Bennett, Sucrose, and Mona.

Bennett

Genshin Impact Bennett

Rarity: 4-star
Weapon: Sword

Fancy a support Pyro character? Bennett is the perfect pick. He is an excellent asset to his party, given his Energy Recharge and great damage. Some Travelers even go as far as calling him the Pyro Archon for the immense value he adds to the team.

As an orphan, Bennett grew up in Mondstadt’s Adventurers’ Guild. Despite his good nature, this adventurer is, unfortunately, awfully unlucky, which is why most adventurers avoid teaming up with him.

Being part of Benny’s Adventurer Team has its perks, though. His ATK boost alone, not to mention its enormous healing, earns him a spot in almost every damage showcase.

Diluc

Genshin Impact Diluc

Rarity: 5-star
Weapon: Claymore

Diluc was one of the top fan favourites when Genshin Impact first opened its servers. As one of the flashiest characters in the game, Diluc deals massive damage with a majestic passion. This nobleman is the owner of the Dawn Winery, and even if he severed his ties with the Knights of Favonius, he still protects his beloved Mondstadt in his own anti-hero ways. Being a rare 5-star character, players who can get him are indeed lucky.

What’s unique about Diluc’s kit is his Elemental Skill, Searing Onslaught, wherein he deals Pyro DMG three times within a short period. Time it correctly while on Chongyun’s Layered Frost and get three consecutive Melt procs.

Xiangling

Genshin Impact Xiangling Image

Rarity: 4-star
Weapon: Polearm

All players will be able to get Xiangling via the Spiral Abyss. Her Constellations are also relatively easy to obtain, being a 4-star character.

Apart from being a formidable Pyro character, Xiangling is also a certified master chef who runs Wanmin Restaurant alongside her father.

She is also a member of the popular F2P-friendly National Team, together with Xingqiu, Chongyun, and Bennett. In this team composition, Xingqiu’s Raincutter, Chongyun’s Layered Frost, and Bennett’s Fantastic Voyage enable Xiangling to deal devastating damage with consistent Melt and Vaporize reactions.

Klee

Genshin Impact Klee

Rarity: 5-star
Weapon: Catalyst

One thing’s for sure, Klee is petite and powerful. She is built with excellent DPS, and her kabooming attacks are spot-on in dealing AOE damage. Got loads of enemies in your path? Switch to this 5-star cutie to clear your way.

As a kid who’s been entrusted to the Knights of Favonius, Klee’s outgoing nature and fish-blasting escapades make her a regular in the confinement room where Master Jean urges her to self-reflect.

Klee was first released in October 2020, but she still holds up a little more than two years later. Everything in her kit has sheer firepower. Her Normal and Charged Attacks may feel slow and clunky at first, but once you get used to animation cancelling, you’ll find she’s truly top-tier.

Xinyan

Genshin Impact Xinyan

Rarity: 4-star
Weapon: Claymore

Let’s admit it, Pyro + rockstar is pretty lit! Unlike Diluc, who’s a claymore-wielding main DPS, Xinyan accompanies her teammates by boosting their Physical Damage and protecting them with a Pyro shield. What fires me up more about this Pyro lady is how she jams with her ultimate to deal AOE damage on enemy groupies. Rock ‘n’ roll is definitely alive and kicking in Liyue, thanks to her.

Hu Tao

Genshin Impact Hu Tao Image

Rarity: 5-star
Weapon: Polearm

As the director of Wangsheng Funeral Parlor and the possessor of the game’s strongest single-damage Pyro Elemental Burst, Hu Tao is an expert in sending beings to the afterlife.

This cheerful and whimsical girl takes delight in pranking people, with Xiangling and Qiqi being her usual victims. She’s also well-versed in poetry, often filling the streets of Liyue with laughter as she engages in poetic banter with Xingqiu.

Hu Tao has ridiculously high multipliers on her kit. This HP-based main DPS is a must-have if you like doing damage showcases because she can easily dish out 7-digit outputs with her Elemental Burst, Spirit Soother. It’s also super satisfying to hit enemies while dashing around the Spiral Abyss chambers with her Charged Attacks.

Yanfei

Genshin Impact Yanfei Image

Rarity: 4-star
Weapon: Catalyst

Yanfei is Liyue’s resident legal advisor. She’s well-known for her unique methods and the memorization of Liyue law, which she can recite in great detail. She also has extensive knowledge of other nations’ laws, so if you ever find yourself caught in some legal trouble, better call Yanfei!

Her playful nature and deep vocabulary naturally draw her to Xinyan’s performances. She says that if there ever comes a day that legal advisers are no longer needed, she’d just start a rapping career.

When playing as Yanfei, you’d want to take advantage of your Charged Attacks’ large AOE, range, and damage. Yanfei has a cohesive kit that focuses on buffing her Charged Attack damage. She’s also 4-star, making her a viable option for F2P players.

Yoimiya

Genshin Impact Yoimiya

Rarity: 5-star
Weapon: Bow

Like the rest of the Naganoharas, Yoimiya is well-loved in Inazuma because of her warm and passionate personality. She’s devoted to her craft as the master pyrotechnician of Naganohara fireworks and carefully plans out every display in every Inazuman festival.

Yoimiya funnels all her strength into single-target damage, which makes her a fun pick in weekly boss fights. Firework Flare-up currently has the biggest Normal Attack multipliers in the game, and it can quickly shoot down even an Abyss-buffed Golden Wolflord.

Thoma

Genshin Impact Thoma

Rarity: 4-star
Weapon: Polearm

Thoma is Kamisato Estate’s ol’ reliable housekeeper. He was born in Mondstadt, and his naturally friendly and warm demeanour allows him and his network of people to protect the Kamisatos’ rights and interests without trouble.

His skill set is as reliable as he is in running errands. Crimson Ooyoroi, his Elemental Burst, summons a Blazing Barrier that absorbs damage. While under the effect, the current character also triggers Fiery Collapse with their Normal Attacks, making Thoma an excellent Pyro applicator and a staple in Burgeon team comps.

Oh, look! You’re all fired up, and I can tell you’re ready to build your next Pyro character. Don’t forget to top up Genesis Crystals for Genshin Impact, though. At Codashop, we offer safe and easy top-up options for a fun and hassle-free experience.
