Genshin Impact Arlecchino GuideAs fourth of the eleven Fatui Harbingers, Arlecchino is both a poised diplomat and a ruthless fighter who will do anything to achieve the Tsaritsa’s goals. She’s the “Father” of the House of the Hearth—the Fatui’s spy training program disguised as a Snezhnayan orphanage—where Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet learned the tricks of the trade. In this article, we’ll cover all about Arlecchino’s kit, best weapons, artifacts, and team comps, so you can unlock her full potential.

Arlecchino’s Talents and Playstyle

Arlecchino is a 5-star on-field Pyro DPS who wields a polearm. Her main source of damage is her pyro-infused normal attacks, which are beefed up by the Masque of the Red Death buff. She also introduces a new combat mechanic called “Bond of Life” which prevents healing in exchange for activating unique buffs. It is represented by a red bar enveloping the character’s HP bar and can reach up to 200% of the character’s max HP.

Genshin Impact Arlecchino Demo

Invitation to a Beheading (Normal Attack)

Arlecchino swings and thrusts her polearm (which, at times, morphs into a scythe) for up to six times. Holding the attack button causes her to dash forward and perform a Charged Attack, and holding it further enables her to hover at high speeds for up to 5 seconds.

Masque of the Red Death

When Arlecchino has a Bond of Life worth 30% of Max HP or higher, her normal, charged, and plunging attacks will be infused with Pyro. This also grants Arlecchino a normal attack damage bonus which scales off of her ATK and the current Bond of Life value, while consuming 7.5% of her current Bond of Life on every hit.

All is Ash (Elemental Skill)

Arlecchino dashes forward and deals Pyro DMG to a small AOE in front of her.

Blood-Debt Directive

Opponents hit by Arlecchino’s Elemental Skill will be marked with a Blood-Debt Directive, which deals Pyro DMG twice in the next 10 seconds. During this time, when Arlecchino performs a Charged Attack, she will clear all nearby Blood-Debt Directives and receive a Bond of Life worth 65% of her Max HP.

Balemoon Rising (Elemental Burst)

Arlecchino unleashes a large wave of AOE Pyro DMG, heals herself, clears all Blood-Debt Directives, and resets her Elemental Skill cooldown. This skill is the only way to heal Arlecchino during combat.

Agony Along May Be Repaid (1st Ascension Passive)

When an opponent marked with a Blood-Debt Directive dies or endures the mark for 5 seconds, Arlecchino gains a Bond of Life worth 130% of her Max HP.

Strength Along Can Defend (4th Ascension Passive)

Every 100 ATK Arlecchino has more than 1,000 grants her 1% Elemental and Physical RES. This bonus is capped at 20%.

The Balemoon Alone May Know (Utility Passive)

While in combat, Arlecchino gains a 40% Pyro DMG Bonus and can only be healed through her Elemental Burst.

Talent Priority

Max out Arlecchino’s Normal Attacks first, then level up her Elemental Skill to further amp up her barrage of Pyro hits. At level 10, her Elemental Burst reaches a massive 666% ATK, so you can also max this next for a secondary source of damage.

Genshin Impact Arlecchino Talents

Best Weapons

With a passive effect tailor-made to amplify the strengths of Arlecchino’s kit, the Crimson Moon’s Semblance is without doubt the best-in-slot. For the F2P option, your best bet is the White Tassel with its whopping 48% increase on Normal Attack DMG at R5.

  • Crimson Moon’s Semblance: 674 ATK, 22.1% Crit Rate

When a charged attack hits an opponent, it grants a Bond of Life equal to 25% Max HP. When the equipping character has a Bond of Life, they gain a 12% DMG Bonus and an additional 24% DMG Bonus if the Bond of Life is greater than 30%.

  • White Tassel: 401 ATK, 23.4% Crit Rate

Increases Normal Attack DMG by 48%.

Best Artifacts

Unlike most Pyro DPS units who gain a greater DMG increase from Amplifying Reactions like Vaporize and Melt, Arlecchino’s kit offers more flexibility by putting the focus on her quick normal attacks. Hence, artifact sets that offer raw stat bonuses to ATK and Normal Attack DMG will work best for her.

  • Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy

2-piece bonus: ATK + 18%

4-piece bonus: The equipping character deals 18% increased damage for 6 seconds when the value of Bond of Life changes. Stacks up to 3 times.

  • Gladiator’s Finale

2-piece bonus: ATK + 18%

4-piece bonus: Grants a 35% Normal Attack DMG bonus if the equipping character wields a Sword, Claymore, or Polearm.

Best Team Comps

Mono Pyro

Stacking buffs with a Mono Pyro team works wonders when your main DPS is Arlecchino. By forgoing Amplifying Reactions, this team does not require intricate rotations and setups. Just use Arlecchino’s Elemental Skill then drop Bennet’s, Zhongli’s, and Kazuha’s buffs before switching back to Arlecchino and going ham on the mob:

Vaporize

If you’ve already invested a lot on Hydro units, don’t worry because Vaporize teams still work well with Arlecchino as the main DPS. Bringing fast Hydro applicators like Yelan and Xingqiu are a must for Arlecchino to trigger vapes more consistently. The last slot can go to a shielder or an Anemo crowd control unit depending on the type of enemies you are facing.

Genshin Impact Arlecchino Vaporize Team

Arlecchino is a strong and flexible Pyro DPS unit that shines best on-field with her flashy attack sequences. Her massive Elemental Burst multiplier makes one-hitting bosses a walk in the park with traditional vape teams, while her quick and highly destructive normal attacks offer simple yet entertaining combat with Mono Pyro teams. The Bond of Life mechanic is also a game-changer, pushing Travellers to play riskier team comps for better killing power. How do you think the Bond of Life mechanic will affect future characters?
