Genshin Impact Kalpalata Farming Guide

Genshin Impact players are used to the daily grind of farming monster drops, artifacts, and ascension materials for characters and weapons. So when Sumeru dropped, it was no surprise that travelers were given new materials to farm! One of these new materials is the Kalpalata Lotus.

This guide is created for both beginner and long-time Genshin Impact players. Whether you’re entirely new to the game, or you’ve been traveling the world of Teyvat since its release, this guide will help you farm Kalpalata Lotuses more efficiently!

What are Kalpalata Lotuses?

Kalpalata Lotus Description

Kalpalata Lotuses are delicate flowers that grow on vines by the cliff sides and branches of Sumeru. It has petals with shades of blue with a yellowish bulb and stamen. Since these are local specialty items, they can be used to ascend certain Sumeru characters.

How to Farm Kalpalata Lotus?

Farming these flowers is easy, but they are scattered across the rainforests of Sumeru. You’ll have to jump from one teleporter to another, then glide down the cliffsides or climb up branches to locate them. The good news is they mostly grow in clusters! You’ll have an easy time collecting two or three in one spot before moving to the next.

Kalpalata Lotus Locations

Along with many other materials in the game, it takes two real-world days for the Kalpalata Lotus to respawn after being acquired. Once you run out of lotuses to grab, try asking one of your friends if they’re willing to have you farming around for Kalpalata Lotuses in their worlds.
