The new update for Genshin Impact was released on September 28, 2022, at 06:00 (UTC+8).
Get free Primogems
Genshin Impact will be giving free Maintenance Compensation of 300 Primogems; 60 Primogems for every hour the servers are down. Only travelers who reach Adventure Rank 5 or above can claim the Maintenance Compensation by the end of the update. You only have 30 days to claim it since you received the email update from the developers.
New area
New areas are opening in Sumeru Region in Genshin Impact 3.1. They are:

- Land of Lower Setekh
- Land of Upper Setekh

Cyno (5-Star Character)
Cyno is General Mahamatra in charge of supervising Akademiya’s researchers. Brought by his intimidating high status, strangers see him as a formidable government official. His work ethic makes him always prepared, enabling him to finish the work efficiently.

Nilou (5-Star Character)
Nilou dances gracefully and elegantly as she spreads her warmth and innocence in every move she makes. She may be a great choice given her potential deal damage, however, she needs a lot of investment in exchange. Nilou is debuting this Genshin Impact 3.1 and we will see her in phrase 2.

Secretum Secretorum (Albedo)
You may obtain the 5 Star Character “Kreideprinz” Albedo (Geo) in this Character Event wish. This event is yet to be announced.
New Domains
Garden of Endless Pillars
Garden of Endless Pillars is a palatial place where it is now wrack and ruined as its history unfolds the domination of thousands of giant pillars, priests, and the powerful. It was the mighty and proud city of Sapphire.
To unlock this domain, travelers must reach Adventure Rank 24 or above and fulfill certain criteria. Obtain rewards such as Primogems and Dendro Sigils as you challenge this domain.
Altar of Mirages
The Altar of Mirages witnessed the ages of rituals long past. It holds scenes of Jinn’s free theater and paradise without sorrow or care. Now sits long, amidst the flow of Ley Lines, the joys and sorrows it holds will disappear.
To unlock this domain, travelers must reach Adventure Rank 28 or above and fulfill certain criteria. Obtain rewards such as Primogems and Dendro Sigils as you challenge this domain.
Red Desert Threshold
Red Desert Threshold holds a legend of a prince exiled by his King father in this jail. The legend sits long as the loneliness of this place lingers where there is neither day nor night, this place is forgotten by many as the bronze first emerged here.
To unlock this domain travelers must reach Adventure Rank 32 or above and fulfill specific criteria. Obtain rewards such as Primogems and Dendro Sigils as you challenge this domain

New Weapons
Staff of the Scarlet Sands (5-Star Polearm)
The character gains 52% of their Elemental Mastery as bonus ATK when this 5-star Polearm is equipped. The Dream of the Scarlet Sands effect will last for 10s providing the character with 28% of their Elemental Mastery as a bonus ATK whenever the character hits an opponent. Dream of the Scarlet Sands effect can be stacked for 3.
Makhaira Aquamarine (4-Star Claymore)
When a character hits an opponent, it triggers 24% of the character’s Elemental Mastery as bonus ATK for 12s, as the nearby party members gain 30% of this buff. This buff can be stacked for multiple instances and can still be triggered even if the character is not in the field.
Key of Khaj-Nisut (5-Star Sword)
The Key of Khaj-Nisut increases the character’s HP by 20% and enables the character to gain the Grand Hymn effect for 20s equipping the character’s Elemental Mastery by 0.12% of their max HP. This effect has 0.3s CD and can be stacked for a maximum of 3.
Xiphos’ Moonlight (4-Star Sword)
When a character hits an opponent, it triggers a 0.036% Energy Recharge for each point of Elemental Mastery they possess for 12s as the nearby party members simultaneously gain 30% of this buff. This buff can be stacked for multiple instances and can still be triggered even if the character is not in the field.
Wandering Evenstar (4-Star Catalyst)
When a character hits an opponent, it triggers 24% of their Elemental Mastery as bonus ATK for 12s, as the nearby party members gain 30% of this buff. This buff can be stacked for multiple instances and can still be triggered even if the character is not in the field.
Missive Windspear (4-Star Polearm)
When Missive Windsprear triggered Elemental Reaction, the ATK is increased by 12%, and Elemental Mastery is increased by 48 for 10s.

New Monsters and Enemies
Aeonblight Drake
Aeonblight Drake is a dragon-shaped machine believed to be more potent than Ruin Drake as it can attack from the air and on the ground. This enemy is located in Ardravi Valley and is known to be capable of releasing a dangerous torrent of energy and can increase its Elemental RES when its primary type of Elemental DMG is attacked. You can defeat this creature by taking the opportunity to target its core.
Algorithm of Semi-Intransient Matrix of Overseer Network
The Algorithm of Semi-Intransient Matrix of Overseer Network is ancient machinery that came long before the modern-day, which no one has been able to understand nor comprehend. It came from the Hypostyle Desert and is capable of invisibility as it fires out its components while it increases its RES. You may either use Catalyze reactions or Electro attack on its fired-out components, given that it would need a recovery, to cancel its invisibility.
Primal Construct: Prospector, Primal Construct: Reshaper, and Primal Construct: Repulsor
Primal Construct: Prospector, Primal Construct: Reshaper, and Primal Construct: Repulsor are ancient machines with the same distinct features as Ruin Machine. Eremite Stone Enchanter and Eremite Galehunter
Eremite Stone Enchanter and Eremite Galehunter are warriors scattered along the desert. They will attack you by releasing the ominous spirit within their body as they simultaneously deal with the damage. This will trigger them to transform into an Infused Form, their weakened state. You may take this opportunity to defeat these spirits.
