If Version 4.1 Phase 1 felt like a warm-up, Phase 2 is where things get loud, flashy, and downright cinematic—because Boothill has officially entered the battlefield. With his gunslinger moves, relentless dueling mechanics, and an explosive main DPS kit, Boothill brings a refreshing twist to single-target combat that rewards precision, timing, and a bit of swagger.
We’re also getting his signature Light Cone, plus a couple of familiar events that are perfect for stocking up on resources and boosting your account’s progression. In this article, we’ll break down Boothill’s kit and role, take a closer look at his Light Cone, and run through the events you shouldn’t miss before the banner wraps up.

Featured Character: Boothill
Boothill is a 5-star Physical-Hunt unit and a cybernetic Galaxy Ranger who travels the cosmos delivering justice one bullet at a time, carving out his place in the universe as a lone enforcer with a personal code. His design leans heavily into the gunslinger fantasy, but it’s his mechanics that truly set him apart.
Boothill’s kit boasts his unique “duel” mechanic, Standoff, which locks him into a face-off with a single enemy. Instead of relying on rotations, Boothill enhances his Basic Attacks into rapid, high-damage shots that shred Toughness bars quickly.
He can implant Physical Weakness on targets, making him viable even in off-element scenarios, and once enemies are broken, he unleashes devastating Break and Super Break DMG. This encourages a very deliberate playstyle: isolate priority targets, stack Break effect, and capitalize on massive damage windows rather than spreading damage across multiple enemies.
In team compositions, Boothill thrives as a dedicated boss killer. He pairs exceptionally well with supports that boost Break effect, speed, or turn manipulation, allowing him to cycle through his enhanced attacks faster and maintain pressure during duels. However, he trades AoE flexibility for raw single-target dominance, meaning you’ll want teammates who can clear mobs while he lines up the finishing shot.
He’ll be joined in Phase 2 by fellow 5-star Ashveil and 4-star units Asta, Moze, and Misha, giving players a solid mix of support and utility options. This banner will be available until April 21, 2026, so there’s plenty of time to assemble your dream lineup!

Featured Light Cone: Sailing Towards a Second Life
Boothill’s signature Light Cone amplifies his raw damage and makes the toughest bosses shake. As a Hunt-path Light Cone, it offers strong base stats and leans heavily into Break, boosting it by a massive 60% while allowing Break DMG to ignore a portion of the enemy’s DEF.
On top of that, once the wearer reaches a high Break effect threshold, it grants a valuable SPD boost, helping Boothill cycle turns faster and maintain relentless pressure during duels. It’s essentially a perfect extension of his kit, turning every Break proc into a fight-ending blow.
